About Us

Joel Duifhuis

Joel finished his computer science degree from the University of Victoria in July 2006. His focus in school was on software engineering and also networking and distributed systems.

Joel has had a great interest in computers since he was younger and started playing with HTML and creating websites early on. As he went through university, he started developing interactive, dynamic, database backed websites. Some of his first sites were an address book and family birthday calendar. He has carried on with designing and developing complex web applications designed to meet our customer's needs.

Joel also has a great love of photography. Combining his love of computers and photography, he has focused on digital photography while still learning the theory behind great photography. Much of his work is nature photography, but also has experience with family and people images. Joel has a love for the digital darkroom and doing post-processing on images to get the greatest results.
