About Me

Joel Duifhuis

I finished my computer science degree from the University of Victoria in July 2006. My focus in school was on software engineering and also networking and distributed systems.

I've always been interested in computers and started playing with HTML and creating websites early on. As I went through university, I started developing interactive, dynamic, database backed websites. Some of my first sites were an address book and family birthday calendar. I've carried on with designing and developing complex web applications designed to meet your needs.

I have also always had a great love of photography. Combining my love of computers and photography, I focused on digital photography while still learning the theory behind great photography. Much of my work is nature photography, but I also have experience with family and people images. I have a love for the digital darkroom and doing post-processing on images to get the greatest results.
